Why don't you like Billy Joel?
I grew up to Billy Joel's music, it was pop music for its time. For the late 70's, it was not bad. I was 10 year old, so give me credit. Anyone younger than me, he would be like a Pat Boone character. Yeah, in that perspective he would suck royally. But I like "The Stranger" and "52st St.". There are a lot of silly memories with them that mean something with me. I know that it is all nonsense, I can take it.
Have I ever said anything that either disparaged Billy Joel or anyone who likes him? All I ever said was "I dislike Billy Joel." Which is hardly criticism of him, much less anyone who likes him.
