
I heard once that it takes twenty minutes for your brain to realize that you've eaten. I am trying to think about that. I am trying to think about how much I want to weigh 200 pounds on Monday. (If I can do a pound a day until Friday and hold through the weekend, I will make it.) I am trying to be satisfied with the way I feel right now, with my lunch in my stomach and an empty ache around it. I am trying, and it's so fucking hard.
